2016 Red, White and Brew Run Festival Weekend
Half Marathon – 13.1 mile run (Sunday, September 11, 2016)
Join us on Sunday, September 11, 2016 for the inaugural Red, White and Brew Run (TM) half-marathon. The event begins with a solemn remembrance to the victims and the survivor families of 9/11.
The course starts on Bridge and Main Street in Phoenixville and travel out to Spring City along the Schuylkill River Trail, before coming back along the rolling hills and streets into East Pikeland and returning through the borough of Phoenixville for the finish.
All participants will receive a long sleeve tech shirt, unique finishers gift, one beverage ticket for the beer and wine festival for those over 21 to use on beer or wine (non-alcoholic beverages will be available for those under 21; a strict age check verification policy will be enforced), along with standard post race nutrition and a ticket for additional festival food item at one of our sponsored vendors.
The course will be open for 3.5 hours. You must be able to maintain a 16-minute mile pace. Anyone who falls behind, will need to move to the side of the road and finish at your own risk as the road will be open to traffic. We highly recommend training to finish within 3.5 hours.
Training guides and plan will be coming soon!
